I come from a family that has always encouraged me to pursue my dreams, and I'm grateful for that. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the world of politics and governance, and I knew that I wanted to make a career out of it. I pursued my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Rajasthan University, and then went on to do my Master's in Political Science from Delhi University.
My study plan was quite rigorous, and I dedicated at least 6-8 hours a day to studying. I made a detailed schedule for myself, and stuck to it as much as possible. I divided my study material into sections, and focused on one section at a time. I also made sure to take breaks in between, to avoid burnout.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was time management. With such a rigorous study plan, it was easy to get overwhelmed and feel like I was not doing enough. But I learned to prioritize my tasks, and focus on the most important ones first.
I used a combination of online and offline resources to prepare for the exam. I relied heavily on mock tests and practice questions to assess my knowledge and identify areas where I needed improvement. I also made sure to stay updated with current events, and read newspapers and magazines regularly.
My interview experience was quite nerve-wracking, but also incredibly rewarding. I was asked a range of questions, from my understanding of governance to my views on current events. I tried to be as honest and authentic as possible, and I think that really helped me to stand out.
Securing AIR 295 in UPSC CSE 2022 was a dream come true for me. It was a culmination of all my hard work and dedication, and I feel incredibly proud of myself. I hope that my story can inspire others to pursue their dreams, and to never give up on their goals.
