I come from a family of doctors and have always been fascinated by the medical field. Growing up, I was exposed to the world of medicine and was encouraged to pursue a career in it. I completed my MBBS from Grant Medical College and was determined to make a difference in the world.
My study plan was rigorous and well-structured. I started by creating a schedule that allowed me to balance my studies with other aspects of my life. I dedicated 8-10 hours a day to studying and made sure to take breaks in between to refresh my mind. I also joined a study group to stay motivated and to learn from others.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was staying motivated. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I pushed through and reminded myself of my goals. I also had to deal with self-doubt and imposter syndrome, but I learned to overcome these feelings by focusing on my strengths and accomplishments.
I used a variety of strategies to stay on track, including creating flashcards, making concept maps, and practicing past exams. I also made sure to review my notes regularly and to ask for help when I needed it.
The interview was a challenging but rewarding experience. I was asked a range of questions, from my knowledge of current events to my personal experiences and values. I made sure to answer each question thoughtfully and to showcase my skills and qualifications.
I was thrilled to learn that I had achieved an all-India rank of 687 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022. It was a moment of pure joy and relief, and I was grateful to have had the opportunity to pursue my dreams.
The key to my success was my ability to stay motivated and focused, even in the face of challenges and setbacks. I also learned the importance of self-care and taking breaks to refresh my mind.
I would encourage anyone who is pursuing a career in the civil services to stay committed to their goals and to never give up, no matter what obstacles they may face.
