Background
\n\nGrowing up, I was always fascinated by the idea of public service. My parents, both educators, encouraged me to pursue a career in civil services. I studied Electrical Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar, which provided me with a solid foundation in problem-solving and analytical thinking.\n\n### Study Plan \n\nMy study plan was quite rigorous. I started preparing for the UPSC CSE 2022 about 12-14 months in advance. I created a detailed schedule, allocating specific time slots for each subject, including General Studies (GS) and Sociology Optional. I also made sure to allocate time for revision and practice tests.\n\n### Challenges \n\nOne of the biggest challenges I faced was balancing my studies with other responsibilities. As an engineer, I had to work on various projects, which sometimes conflicted with my study schedule. Additionally, I had to deal with self-doubt and anxiety, which were common among my peers.\n\n### Strategies \n\nTo overcome these challenges, I employed several strategies. Firstly, I prioritized my studies, focusing on the most critical subjects, such as GS and Sociology. I also made sure to take regular breaks, engaging in physical activities like yoga and meditation to maintain my mental well-being. Moreover, I joined a study group, which provided me with a sense of community and motivation.\n\n### Interview Experience \n\nThe interview experience was both exhilarating and intimidating. I was asked a range of questions, from general knowledge to specialized topics in Sociology. I tried to stay calm and composed, drawing from my experiences and knowledge to provide thoughtful responses.\n\n### Success \n\nSecuring an AIR of 610 was a dream come true. It was a result of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. I believe that my success can be attributed to my ability to stay focused, adapt to challenges, and learn from my mistakes.\n\n- Prioritize your studies: Focus on the most critical subjects and allocate time accordingly.
