My study plan was a crucial part of my preparation. I created a schedule that allowed me to cover all the subjects in a systematic manner. I started with the basics - current affairs, history, geography, and so on. I made sure to read all the important topics and take notes. I also made a habit of revising my notes regularly, which helped me to retain the information better.

The journey was not without its challenges. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I didn't. I kept pushing myself, and slowly but surely, I started to see progress. The biggest challenge for me was time management. With so many subjects to cover, it was easy to get overwhelmed. But I managed to stay focused and prioritize my tasks.

One of the key strategies that worked for me was making a habit of reading newspapers and current affairs. I made sure to read at least 2-3 newspapers a day, which helped me to stay updated on the latest happenings. I also made a habit of reading books and articles on various subjects, which helped me to broaden my knowledge.

The interview experience was a bit nerve-wracking, but I was well-prepared. I had practiced my answers to common interview questions and was confident in my ability to think on my feet. The panel asked me a range of questions, from my motivations for joining the IAS to my views on current affairs. I was honest and sincere in my answers, and I think that's what impressed the panel.

Securing a rank of 422 was a dream come true for me. It was a moment of pure elation and joy. I had worked hard for it, and it felt amazing to see my efforts pay off. I would advise all aspiring UPSC candidates to stay focused, work hard, and never give up on their dreams.
