How they prepared for UPSC CSE 2023
I come from a family of modest means, and my parents always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I was born and brought up in Faridabad, Haryana, and did my schooling from DPS Faridabad. I was always fascinated by the world of engineering and decided to pursue a career in it. I secured admission to IIT BHU Varanasi and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering.
My journey to becoming a UPSC topper began when I was in college. I started preparing for the exam by reading books and taking online courses. I also joined a coaching institute to get guidance from experienced teachers. My study plan was quite rigorous, with a focus on covering all the subjects and topics. I used to study for around 8-10 hours a day, 6 days a week.
The biggest challenge I faced during my preparation was time management. With a demanding study schedule, it was difficult to balance my personal life and relationships. I also faced setbacks and failures, but I never gave up. I kept pushing myself to work harder and improve my performance.
The interview experience was nerve-wracking, but I was well-prepared. I had practiced answering common interview questions and was confident in my abilities. The panel asked me a mix of questions, including current affairs, history, and personality-related questions. I answered them to the best of my abilities and was able to showcase my skills and knowledge.
Securing All India Rank 327 in the UPSC CSE 2023 was a dream come true. It was a culmination of all my hard work and dedication. I was overjoyed and relieved at the same time. I knew that I had given it my all and had nothing to regret.
\n\n I would like to thank my family, friends, and mentors who supported me throughout my journey. Their encouragement and guidance meant the world to me. I would also like to thank the UPSC for providing me with an opportunity to serve the nation.
In conclusion, my journey to becoming a UPSC topper was not easy, but it was worth it. I learned a lot about myself and the world around me. I would like to inspire others to pursue their dreams and never give up, no matter what challenges they face.
