I come from a family of modest means, and my parents always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Growing up, I was fascinated by the diversity of human cultures and the complexities of societies. This curiosity led me to choose Anthropology as my optional subject for the UPSC exam.\n\n### Study Plan I started preparing for the UPSC exam about a year before the actual test date. I created a detailed study plan, which included a mix of theory, case studies, and practice questions. I also made sure to allocate sufficient time for revision and practice tests. My study plan was divided into three phases: the first phase focused on building a strong foundation in general studies, the second phase focused on my optional subject, and the third phase focused on revision and practice.\n\n### Challenges One of the biggest challenges I faced during my preparation was time management. With a busy schedule and limited time, it was difficult to balance my studies with other responsibilities. I also faced difficulties in understanding some of the complex concepts in my optional subject. However, I was determined to overcome these challenges and achieve my goal.\n\n### Strategies To overcome the challenges I faced, I employed several strategies. Firstly, I created a schedule and stuck to it. I also made sure to allocate sufficient time for revision and practice tests. Secondly, I sought help from my friends and mentors when I was struggling with complex concepts. Finally, I practiced consistently and stayed motivated by setting small goals for myself.\n\n### Interview Experience The UPSC interview was a nerve-wracking experience for me. However, I was well-prepared and confident in my abilities. I was asked a range of questions, from general knowledge to specific questions about my optional subject. I answered each question to the best of my ability, and I was proud of myself for staying calm and composed throughout the interview.\n\n### Success Achieving a rank of 101 in the UPSC exam was a dream come true for me. It was a result of my hard work, dedication, and perseverance. I am proud of myself for staying motivated and focused throughout my preparation. I also want to thank my family, friends, and mentors for their support and encouragement. I am excited to start my career as an IAS officer and make a positive impact on society.\n\n- Stay focused and motivated: It's essential to stay motivated and focused throughout your preparation. Set small goals for yourself and celebrate your achievements.
