The UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 consisted of two stages: Prelims and Mains. The Prelims included two objective-type papers — General Studies (GS) Paper 1 and CSAT (Paper 2). GS Paper 1 covered History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Science & Technology, Environment, and Current Affairs. CSAT tested comprehension, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude.
